SUGAR-FREE KETO HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE
Nothing beats a great cup of keto hot chocolate on a cold winter day. The secret to this delicious low-carb hot cocoa is the addition of chocolate extract which really heightens the flavor.

- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa I used Ghirardelli
- 1 ½ tablespoons Pyure All Purpose
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup water
- ¼ teaspoon chocolate extract see notes
- sugar free whipped cream optional
Mix cocoa and sweetener in small bowl, set aside.
Pour water and heavy cream into small sauce pan.
Add cocoa mixture and stir. Heat, while stirring and steaming.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate extract.
Top with sugar free whipped cream if desired.
If you don’t have chocolate extract, vanilla extract is a good substitute. Or change it up with a little peppermint extract.
Pyure All Purpose is twice as sweet as sugar so if using a one-for-one sugar substitute like Swerve, you’ll want to use twice as much.
For dairy-free, use almond milk or coconut milk in place of the water and heavy cream.
