There’s no reasonable explanation for that sending. I’ve never been so sure of fix in my life. Arsenal won the first leg and they’re best player and biggest goal threat was sent off so they were forced to retreat into a defensive shell. “Arsenal” and “Defensive Shell” aren’t words that go together.
And afterwards there was all this talk about how to sending off was questionable but it didn’t matter because of how well Barca was playing. Ridiculous.
Barcelona were unjustly eliminated vs Inter in 2010 when they had a last minute goal disallowed that would have sent them through. People go on and on about Jose shutting down Barca that year but Barca deserved to go through and were robbed by an incorrect refereeing decision.
The idea that Barca were fixing games is rubbish.
I was playing a game last year and racing a defender to the ball, they trod on it and fell over. The ref on the pitch beside us blew his whistle, I instantly turned around and started calling our ref blind. After about 10 seconds, he finally gets a chance to say “that wasn’t my whistle.”
I was lucky to get away without a card. I think the fact that I immediately apologised saved me a yellow at least.
even last year barcelona cheated. Pogba shouldve been given a penalty and off that same play they countered and scored. you know a club is wrotten to the core when Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal and Real Madrid fans all have something in common hating that club
I guess Madrid fans were hiding in their caves for a thread like this to come out and take a dig at Barça and yes, we have become the best team in the history of football solely thanks to constant referee mistakes, and our players are the only ones in world football to have ever dived.
Not saying anything against Arsenal fans tho, they are %100 right to be pissed about that red, it was a god awful decision.
